Medical City McKinney is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The role focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care within the ER, collaborating with physicians and care teams to meet the needs of a diverse patient population.

The RN is expected to deliver compassionate care, document accurately, and educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge plans while adhering to unit standards and state requirements.

Formación

• RN must coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to teach patients and families about conditions, treatment plans and follow-up.
• Documentation of care in medical records.
• Must obtain ACLS/BLS within specified timelines; PALS within 90 days; TNCC within 1 year.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered and document care.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients/families about conditions, treatments, medications and follow-up.
