Job summary

HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across departments. The RN collaborates with medical providers and the care team to implement established nursing models and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities include pain assessment and management, timely documentation, responsive patient care, and patient/family education about conditions, treatment plans, and self-management strategies.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days.
• RN licensure as required.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course or PALS or RN degree within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Document care in the patient medical record promptly and accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Teach patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Educate on non-medical follow-up measures, lifestyle changes, and self-management.
