Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an emergency department setting. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team, develop individualized care plans with patient and family involvement, and coordinate interdisciplinary care to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a current RN license, BLS certification, and a minimum of one year of ED experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the practicing state; BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of licensed RN experience in an Emergency Department.
• Preferred: BSN from an accredited institution.
• Strong skills in patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ED.
• Develop individualized care plans with patient and family involvement.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and monitor patient responses.
• Delegate and manage care delivery, revising plans as needed and ensuring accurate documentation.
