Job summary

Adventist Health in Maywood, California, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ED - Emergency Department. The RN delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process, while supervising staff and coordinating care with other disciplines.

This position is represented by UNAC/UHCP. Required are CA RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification; BSN preferred and acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (state of practice) required
• CPR/BLS certification required per AH policy
• HLFS certification required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or group according to standards and nursing process
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members

Education

BSN preferred

Acute care facility experience preferred
