Job summary

The CHS Career Site is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care through the nursing process in an acute care setting. You will coordinate care with physicians and the healthcare team, document assessments, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and orders.

You will administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, participate in emergencies (CPR/code team), educate patients and families, and maintain infection control standards while ensuring a safe environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure required; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Document patient care and education in the medical record.
