Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinate and deliver high-quality care based on physician orders, and collaborate with the care team to achieve positive outcomes.

The role involves administering medications, monitoring patients, assisting during procedures, educating patients and families, and maintaining infection control and safety standards to ensure optimal care delivery.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in clinical nursing or student rotations in acute care
• RN licensure required
• BCLS required
• ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process
• Documents findings and changes in condition accurately
• Administers prescribed meds and monitors side effects
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR/code activities
• Educates patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care
• Maintains infection control protocols and safety standards
• Operates medical equipment (IV pumps, monitors, vents) as needed
• Participates in audits and quality improvement activities
