Job summary

AdventHealth Riverview in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift (10am-10pm). The role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, creating and updating individualized care plans, administering medications, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required are an RN license in Florida and an Associate's degree in Nursing; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Current RN license in Florida.
BLS certification required.
1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients considering physiological, psychological, developmental, socio-cultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans; administer medications per orders and educate patients and families.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective care and teamwork.
Maintain accurate documentation of care and outcomes.
Evaluate and adjust care plans to improve patient health and safety.
Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
Provide emotional support to patients and families.
Supervise and delegate nursing tasks appropriately.
Engage in professional development and respond to code situations promptly.
