Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson seeks a registered nurse for full-time night shift in the Emergency Department (Level III Trauma). The RN delivers patient-centered care, coordinates with physicians and staff, and follows clinical protocols to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• 1+ years of ED RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the ED according to policies and nursing process.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Performs emergency procedures and supports life-saving interventions such as CPR and code team activities.
• Documents patient care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to develop and implement care plans.
