RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This role supports the Observation Unit with evening shifts, offering growth through teamwork and a commitment to safe, evidence-based patient care.

Ideal candidates hold an active NJ RN license, BLS certification, and preferably ER experience. A BSN and CEN certification are strongly preferred, with EPIC EMR familiarity highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years ER nursing experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• CEN certification desirable and EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care with safe practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding of care plans.
• Document accurately in the EMR for continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and promote effective communication.
