MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift on a 12-hour schedule. The role includes rapid assessments, emergency care planning, timely interventions, and coordinating care for multiple patients in a dynamic ED/acute setting.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in nursing, Iowa RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS if telemetry. MercyOne offers tuition reimbursement, benefits day one, and PTO accrual from day one.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• RN licensure in Iowa or a compact state is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required only if unit has telemetry.
• Must complete Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.
• Strong critical thinking, language skills, and basic math ability.
• Basic computer skills required.

Schedule:

• 3 (12 hr) shifts per week--night shift

• Every 3rd weekend

• Every 3rd holiday

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree in nursing required.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Possession of a current or compact state licensure as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.

• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire

• High language, intermediate to high math, high critical thinking ability

• Basic computer skills required
