Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center, LLC in Gadsden, AL is seeking an Emergency Department RN (ER RN/ES-RN). The role covers a 12-hour day shift from 7:00am to 7:00pm, and offers a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Employed full-time in the Emergency Services department, you will deliver rapid emergency care to patients arriving at the hospital. Experience in Critical Care, ICU, Cardiac Care, Telemetry, or ED is welcome.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license required.
• BLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS certification and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients on arrival and prioritize care per triage protocols.
• Provide direct care including medications, wound care, monitoring, pain management.
• Assist with life-saving interventions including ACLS/PALS/trauma care when needed.
• Remain calm and focused during high-stress situations.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, options, and discharge instructions.
