Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is hiring an experienced RN for a full-time day shift in a busy unit. You will perform comprehensive assessments, create and adjust care plans, administer medications, and document actions in the EMR with Cerner/EPIC familiarity.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, mentor staff, and ensure safety, privacy, and quality standards while supporting patient and family education throughout care transitions.

Qualifications

RN with active Florida license and acute care experience.
Ability to lead and assess in critical care settings.
Experience with electronic medical records (Cerner/EPIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
Administer medications and monitor responses per protocol.
Document care activities accurately in EMR.
Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff on the unit.
Maintain infection control and safety standards.
