Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is hiring a full-time Day shift Registered Nurse. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families in a fast-paced setting.

Collaborate with physicians and care teams, document in the EMR, and uphold safety and regulatory standards. Requires an RN license, Associate’s degree (BSN preferred), and BLS certification; multiple certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active RN license in Florida; BLS certification required.
• Previous acute care or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and data collection.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Document care activities in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols.
• Support quality improvement and mentor nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following infection control policies.
