Job summary

BayCare's Lakeland Freestanding ED is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ER team on a part-time basis. The role requires in-person care at the Free Standing ED, 5501 S. Florida Ave, Lakeland, FL, with shifts 6:45 AM–7:15 PM and every other weekend.

Responsibilities include delivering nursing care using the nursing process, collaborating with the care team, and maintaining patient safety. Must possess RN license, nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• Degree in nursing (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in the ER using the nursing process.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to the care team.
• Update and prioritize plans of care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
• Ensure patient safety and environmental readiness.
