Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Free Standing ER. The role requires ER experience, a valid RN license, BSN or related degree, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ER, collaborate with the care team, and participate in ongoing training and mentorship. The position is full-time, in-person, with a 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM shift, and an every-other-weekend requirement.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BSN or BS Healthcare related field or CEN within 7 months of hire/promotion.
• 2 years of registered nurse ER experience.
• BLS certification with American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification with American Heart Association.
• PALS certification with American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of patients in a hospital ER setting using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate patient care activities to other health care team members as appropriate.
• Organize and update plan of care in collaboration with patients and families.
