Job summary

The ED serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with an 8‑bed department and a patient ratio of 3:1.

The Registered Nurse Charge role oversees patient care, adheres to nursing regulations, and aligns with the organization’s priorities.

Qualifications

• Completed an established nursing program.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing judgment and reasoning to perform health assessments aligned with standard practices.
• Review nursing procedures and use research to guide changes.
• Demonstrate compassionate care addressing emotional and physical discomfort to promote healing.

Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric – functioning as level IV trauma

# of beds: 8 beds, 4 hall beds

Patient Ratios: 3:1

Job Summary

Registered Nurse Charge oversees patient care, follows nursing regulations, and fulfills the organization's priorities. This enhances responsibility to promote the mission. The main tasks involve evaluating patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, creating personalized care plans, and assessing patient responses.
