Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Buda is seeking a Registered Nurse on the Emergency Department unit. This PRN role covers 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a level IV trauma setting.
The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, manage care plans, and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment in Texas.

Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric – functioning as level IV trauma
# of beds: 8 beds, 4 hall beds
Patient Ratios: 3:1

The facility also offers 24/7 emergency services (an 8-bed Emergency Department) and surgical services (offering adult and pediatric surgeries).

The Registered Nurse on Unit is a key player in patient care management, following our nursing practice model. They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses.
