Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for an ER/MedSurg bedside role spanning 13 weeks with variable shifts. The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years of ER experience, current RN license, and active BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with TNCC/STABLE/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities include IV starts, airway management, and rapid response in trauma and code events. The position supports a mixed ER and MedSurg patient population, with a 1:4 patient-to-nurse ratio, and CNA coverage during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ER experience; MedSurg experience preferred but not required
• Current RN License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC, STABLE, NRP preferred
• Must-Have: IV starts, NG tube insertion/maintenance, comfortable in a code situation, assisting with intubations, mixing medications, wound care, dressing changes, wound vacs, ER triage, foley insertion and care, stabilizing trauma patients, MI/STEMI/Stroke protocols and stabilization, reading EKGs/tele strips.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients in both ER and MedSurg settings.
• RNs respond to codes or emergent situations and are supported by a CNA on the unit.
• Occasionally assist with endoscopy recovery and propofol sedation recovery.
• Remote pharmacy services visit the facility twice monthly with a pharmacy tech available daily for medication checks.
