Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing; RN license required.
• One-year recent acute care RN experience required.
• Current RN license in state of practice required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• PALS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS required.
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care.
• Meet established Standards of Nursing Practice and promote team cooperation.
• Support hospital policy on patient privacy and documentation.
• Deliver clear, concise patient reports and participate in education for staff.
