Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital assignments in the United States. You will assess, triage, administer medications and coordinate care in an acute-care ER setting, with flexible scheduling and the ability to work shifts that fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification as required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
