Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for per diem hospital roles. Shifts include 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, with flexible scheduling and daily pay options.

You will assess and monitor acute-care patients, perform triage, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians. Active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS and ACLS are required; facility credentialing and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of ER acute-care experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
