Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. Shifts available 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with flexible scheduling and daily pay options.

Earners can expect competitive per diem pay and a local support team, with opportunities to take as little as one shift per month. BLS/ACLS and active RN license required, with credentialing completed per facility rules.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
