Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital opportunities in Virginia. Choose shifts that fit your availability and work with a local staffing team providing competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support from 5:00 AM-11:30 PM.

ER RNs must hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of acute-care ER experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and the ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergencies and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
