Job summary

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This FT (0.9 FTE) night shift offers comprehensive orientation, ongoing mentorship, and a benefits package designed to support professional growth.

You will work with a collaborative team, deliver high-quality patient care, and participate in an onboarding program focused on confidence and success from day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates strong assessment skills to uncover the patient’s story and plan care.
• Collaborates with patients and families and the interdisciplinary team to identify priorities and goals.
• Advocates for patients while implementing and adjusting care plans.
• Administers medications and provides routine nursing care (IVs, dressing changes) and responds to CPR when needed.
• Continuously assesses progress toward goals and updates the plan of care.
