Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners in Albany Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room on a full-time 12-hour day shift.

Requirements include a current NY RN license, ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene and evaluate care, strong communication skills, and at least 1 year of ER experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York.
• Ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene and evaluate patient care.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• 1 year of Emergency Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care, including assessing needs, planning and meeting the needs of patients in the Emergency Room.
• Assess the needs of each patient and plan nursing care accordingly.
• Lead and supervise care to ensure the plan of care is carried out and evaluated.
• Be accountable to the Nurse Manager for the quality of patient care delivered.
• Deliver care tailored to the age, growth and development of patients in the unit.
