Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Rochester, NY (14626). ER RN Details – Rochester, NY

• Location: Rochester, NY 14626 (Western New York)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room (ER)
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 12, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: Mid-shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (15:00 - 03:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000-$2060
• Patient Ratios: 1:5, mixed/shared acuity levels
• Charting System: Epic (Epic EMR experience required)

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed
• Availability to work every other weekend
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the Rochester, NY facility

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Administer blood products, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and continuous IV sedation/paralytics
• Perform phlebotomy, initiate IVs, and manage central lines
• Deliver procedural sedation and care for patients with CVA and other acute conditions
• Adhere strictly to isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Float to other units as required by hospital census
