Qualifications
Graduates of a 2–4-year AMA approved Respiratory Program.
Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license and NBRC credentials; State license as applicable.
Active AARC member; demonstrate acute/critical care knowledge; BLS with ACLS and NRP.
Responsibilities
Perform high-level respiratory care under indirect supervision.
Be a role model for KHN mission, values and network initiatives.
Perform respiratory procedures daily for all age groups per policy.
Exercise independent clinical judgment in policies and procedures.
Maintain productivity at or above required levels.
Ensure accurate documentation of all records.
Occasionally serve as Lead Therapist, shift Team Leader, or clinical Instructor.
