Job summary

Kettering Health Dayton is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide high-level clinical respiratory care at the Dayton campus. The role operates on a 12-hour day shift within a full-time schedule, under indirect supervision and guidance from the supervisor or team leader.

The ideal candidate will have an AMA-approved program, Ohio licensure, NBRC credentials, and current ACLS/NRP with BLS, and will participate in network initiatives while upholding KHN values.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA-approved respiratory program (2–4 years).
• Licensed Ohio Respiratory Therapist with NBRC credentials.
• Active AARC member with acute/critical care knowledge; current BLS with ACLS and NRP.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level clinical respiratory care under indirect supervision.
• Demonstrate alignment with KHN mission, vision, and values.
• Perform various respiratory procedures on adults/children as policy.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment in applying policies.
• Maintain productivity at or above required levels.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all records.
• Occasionally serve as Lead Therapist or shift Team Leader as assigned.
