Trinity Health's Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a per diem ER Registration associate to join our fast-paced team. You will register patients, verify demographic and financial information, collect payments, and coordinate with case management and payer teams to resolve inquiries.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred or in progress.
• Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients by obtaining necessary and accurate financial and demographic information.
• Receive, investigate and respond to inquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner.
• Determine the financial status of the patient and complete all financial/insurance related functions.
• Communicate with third party payors, obtain insurance benefits and authorizations.
• Collect money due from patient at admission or ER prior to discharge.
• Complete all necessary reports.
• Coordinate with Case Management, Patient Financial Services and Self/Pay/Medicaid eligibility teams.
