Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved registered nursing program.
• Current Michigan RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• ALS within 3 months and PALS within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year.
• ER/ICU experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients.
• Participates in patient and family teaching.
• Provides leadership by working with ancillary nursing and other team members.
• Adheres to ethical and professional standards in nursing practice.
• Assess patients for suicidal tendencies and ideations.
• Assess pediatric fever and treat accordingly.
• Assess and treats abdominal pain and headaches across ages.
• Administer high-risk medications safely when indicated.
• Collaborate to manage trauma and stroke care as part of the team.

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan

BLS Certification

ALS Certification within 3 months of hire

PALS Certification within 6 months of hire

TNCC Certification within 1 year of hire
