Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Marana, AZ is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards. You will implement and monitor care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary team activity, and document patient progress.

The RN will assess discharge needs, educate patients and families, administer medications, and ensure safety. Required Arizona RN license, BLS, and 1 year of RN experience; ACLS/PALS preferred for some departments; sign-on bonus

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and continuing education as defined by CARE.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Valid/current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license; able to obtain AZ licensure within 30 days.
• Current BLS certification.
• American Heart Association requirements as needed by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with policies and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans; coordinates care with the team.
• Assesses discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Administers medications and provides treatments as ordered.
• Educates patients and families; documents care in medical records.
• Performs evaluation and adjusts care plans for patient safety and outcomes.
