Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Maine is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department. Full-time, part-time, or per diem shifts are available; schedule: 3×12 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required and maintained.
• Minimum of one year RN experience in an acute care hospital; ER setting preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• EMR and telemetry proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) in Telemetry.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality; adhere to EMTALA regulations.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and provide compassionate care.
