Job summary

Firelands Health is seeking a part-time RN for the Bellevue ER, delivering patient-centered care from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. This role requires active Ohio RN licensure and CPR certification, with preferred ER experience.

You will assess patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe discharges. Qualifications include BLS/CPR and state licensure, with additional credentials like PALS/ACLS/TNCC encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care experience.
• Prefer at least 1 year of ER experience.
• Current PALS, ACLS, Basic EKG, and TNCC required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process with patients including carrying out physicians orders regarding diet, medication and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
• Performs assessments; monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation; documents nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed.
• Instructs patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
• Responds to emergencies; maintains availability of medications and supplies; ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment.
• Demonstrate service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.
