Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the Emergency Care Center. The role provides professional nursing care in an acute setting guided by the SMHCS practice model and ANA standards.

Minimum 1 year of emergency RN experience preferred; BSN within specified timeframe for new hires, with ongoing certification requirements during orientation and thereafter.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
• BSN required within timeframe for new hires after 2012 as per policy.
• Basic computer skills and common applications.
• Certifications: PALS, NIH Stroke PSA/ACE or CPI; TNCC/ENPC within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an acute clinical care environment.
• Adhere to SMHCS nursing practice model and ANA standards of professional practice.
