Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at the North - Main Building Freestanding ED in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time night shift role (7p-7a) offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care and advocacy.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing experience, ER/Telemetry exposure, and a valid RN license with BLS; ACLS and other certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Telemetry experience is required.
• Emergency department experience is preferred.
• Hospital experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based care to emergency patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services.
• Serve as a patient advocate.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
