Job summary

AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift in a full-time capacity. This role involves comprehensive patient assessments, individualized care plans, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

You will educate patients and families, document outcomes, and participate in performance improvement activities while adhering to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required in Florida; CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and maintain effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, and outcomes.
• Evaluate and adjust care plans to improve patient health and ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
• Engage in professional development and perfomance improvement activities.
