Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health LLC is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a full-time role in Grand Prairie, TX. The position focuses on assessing, planning, directing and evaluating patient care during the mid shift (11am–11pm), delivering age-appropriate nursing care and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will maintain accurate documentation, observe vital signs, follow physician orders, collect labs, and adhere to infection control and CLIA regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Texas without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or comparable experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in ER.
• Provide age-specific nursing care and document thoroughly.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and perform labs per policies.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients; protect privacy.
