Job summary

Texas Health Alliance in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a full-time mid-shift schedule (1p–1a, 36 hours/week).

Responsibilities include delivering patient care via the Nursing Process, assessing and planning care, and coordinating interventions for critically ill or injured patients in a Level III trauma center. Active RN license required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required; BSN preferred.
• RN - Current Registered Nurse required upon hire.
• BCLS, ACLS, CPI, ENPC, TNCC, PALS certifications required or within stated windows.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control into care.
• Initiates information sharing with patients/families.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and transfers.
