Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide timely and compassionate care for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and emergencies. You will assess, monitor, and respond to rapidly changing conditions in a fast-paced ED setting.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree with an active RN license, current BLS and ACLS, and prefers PALS/TNCC. Prior ED experience and strong communication skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license as required by the state.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS/TNCC preferred.
• Previous Emergency Department or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition, delivering emergency nursing care and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms; assist with emergency procedures and respond promptly to critical situations.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and follow-up care; maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team.
