Qualifikationen

• ACLS, BCLS within specified timelines after start date.
• TNCC within 1 year.
• RN license (Texas or Compact) with license within 60 days of hire.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program (diploma/ADN/BSN).
• Minimum 6 months RN clinical experience.

Aufgaben

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures and document care in the patient medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Teach patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up.
• Educate on non-medical follow-up measures such as diet and exercise.
