Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) West Ashley ED is seeking experienced ER Registered Nurses for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles. Shifts include days and nights; 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a. The team delivers MAGNET-quality care with a focus on patient-centered outcomes.

Two years ER RN experience required. BSN preferred; ADN/Diploma RNs must pursue BSN within specified timelines. Licensure in SC or compact state and BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of ER RN experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• RNs hired with an Associate or Diploma must enroll in BSN within two years and complete within four years.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.
• Ensure patient privacy and a safe, healing environment; promote health teaching and outcomes.
• Coordinate care and participate in governance and professional development.
