Job summary

MUSC Health, part of the Medical University of South Carolina, is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for day, evening, and night shifts at CHS - West Ashley Medical Center.

As an ER RN, you will deliver nursing care using the nursing process, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure patient-centered care while maintaining safety and privacy.

Requirements include at least two years ER experience, SC RN license or compact state, BLS, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of Emergency Room RN experience required.
• RN license in SC or a compact state is required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ER patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age- and developmentally appropriate care.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort while delivering family-centered care.
• Maintain readiness for rapid response to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
