Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at St. Francis Eastside on a PRN basis.

The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess patient status, determine priorities, and implement nursing care plans in a fast-paced environment. Required are an RN license and a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing, with 1 year of RN experience preferred for emergency/critical care settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• 1 year of RN experience; ED/critical care preferred.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide care to groups of patients in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Evaluate and update the plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Serve as point of contact for care coordination across departments.
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures.
