Job summary

GRMC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Guam. The role involves 12-hour rotational shifts, independent nursing practice, and charge responsibilities as assigned.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, interpret diagnostic data, and implement care plans in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate has a BSN (preferred), at least two years of ER experience, and current Guam RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Initiates assessments on admission including physical, physiological and psychological needs.
• Reviews diagnostic data and communicates findings to physicians and nursing staff.
• Continuously assesses patient condition and informs physician of changes.
• Implements physician orders and evaluates patient response to treatments.
• Assigns care tasks to nursing team and assumes unit charge responsibilities as needed.
• Documents nursing actions, medications and treatments and maintains records.
• Attends safety training and follows department safety protocols.
