Qualifikationen

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in Maine or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BCLS.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire date.
• Two years minimum ER experience preferred.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate care of patients.
• Coordinate all aspects of nursing care to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Provide appropriate education to patients and/or families regarding the plan of care.
• Document all care and patient response.
• Inform physician of reportable changes in patient status.
• Participate in orientation and unit meetings; attend 75% of staff meetings.
