Qualifications

• Experience in Emergency Department settings preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and prioritize patients on arrival per ED guidelines.
• Perform primary/secondary assessments for traumatic injuries and cardiac symptoms.
• Manage pain control and provide age-appropriate care and education.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home care, medications, and follow-up.
• Maintain stroke education and competency annually.
