Job summary

St. Josephs Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include triaging patients, providing immediate care for cardiac symptoms, and managing rapidly changing conditions.

Candidates must hold a valid Texas RN License and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Effective communication skills are critical.

Emergency Room experience is preferred. This role offers a PRN schedule with potential for weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and prioritize patients upon arrival.
• Perform primary and secondary assessments on patients with traumatic injuries.
• Provide care and education congruent with age-related needs.
