Job summary

Atrium Health Steele Creek Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC is hiring an experienced RN for its fast-paced ED. The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, a state RN license, and 6 months of RN experience. BLS is required, with ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Inpatient critical care experience of 1 year is preferred. As an ED RN, you will coordinate care, apply evidence-based practice, and contribute to a safe environment and positive patient experience across the continuum

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
