HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ER setting. You will assess pain, perform procedures, document care, and educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-management.

Competenze

• Florida RN license (or multi-state) required; compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days after relocation.
• Associate degree or RN diploma required.
• 1+ years RN acute care experience preferred.
• BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of start.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months of start date.
• TNCC within 6 months at Main ER.
• ACLS or ACLS Instructor within 6 months of start date.
• PALS or PALS Instructor within 6 months of start date.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management with appropriate reassessment.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to improve service.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications and follow-up.
