AHS - Sherman Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The RN will lead patient/family teaching and guide other nursing staff, maintaining professional standards and coordinating with physicians on changes in patient condition.

Essential requirements include an active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, ER experience, and TNCC/NIHSS timelines.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification at hire or within 30 days.
• ACLS certification at hire or within 60 days.
• PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year ER/staff nurse experience preferred; acute care hospital.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Behavioral violence prevention certification or obtained within 30 days.
• TNCC within 9 months of hire required.
• NIHSS within 30 days of hire.
